What are your memory boxes made out of?
Our memory boxes are made out of wood, so they are very sturdy. We personally make the boxes, and then adhere fabric to them to give you a personalized look. Our boxes include a shelf inside that is made of wood as well. You can place heavier items on the bottom level, and lighter artifacts on the top shelf.
What are the dimensions of the memory boxes?
The outside dimensions of the box are: Length 16″x Width 12″ x Depth 8″. The inside dimensions of the box are: Length 15″; Width 10 3/4″ Deep (Front to Back); 4″ Tall (Bottom of Box to Shelf); 2 3/4″ (Shelf to Lid). Currently, we only offer our memory boxes in one size. However, we hope to expand our options in future offerings.
What do your memory boxes cost?
The price of our memory boxes is completely dependent on how elaborate you want to make them. Each box can be customized and personalized to your specifications. Our boxes range in price from $45-$75. This price reflects the cost of materials, design, and labor. Customers can choose their fabric selections, embellishments, types of appliques and size, as well as embroidery options.
How do I order a memory box?
Simply send us an email. Write to us at posterityplace@hotmail.com. Please describe the type of box you are wanting to order, along with design and color ideas. A representative will contact you regarding your order.
How much does shipping cost for a memory box, if I am interested?
We do offer shipping. Prices may vary depending on location. However, the typical price is $15.00
How long does it take to receive your memory box?
Typically, the promised timeframe for a box is 6-8 weeks. However, we are currently fulfilling holiday orders. Orders have to be received by December 5th, in order to have your memory box by December 25th.
Do you have any other products besides memory boxes?
Yes. We have grade school, junior high, and high school pocket books. These books help you organize your child’s school paperwork and projects, as well as keep track of important memories. We also have mini scrapbook albums for your special photos. We are currently working on future products that we will be unveiling in 2010.
Can I order your products online?
We are currently in the process of opening a shop on Etsy.com. The shop will be open in 2010. We will keep you posted on the future details. Right now, we are only processing orders through email and phone.

Hi! I sent an earlier email about two baby memory boxes. I would like to go ahead an order them in the non gender fabric, with mini scrapbooks for each box and pay the deposit now. When the names are added, I could pay the balance.
